Math is one of those skills that are extremely important and is used everyday. The perfect example would be when going to the store to buy something with a $100 dollar bill. More than likely one will not spend all the money, meaning that one will receive change. Without math you have no idea how much change you will get nor how much it should be. At some point math will become boring and nevertheless challenging. Almost all jobs require some type of math, the social stance of the job also defines how difficult the math will be.
My experiences with math have not always been the best. I have never favorited this subject so my insightfulness towards it was dull. Traditntal problem solving math is very easy however its very basic math. I started building confidence in math around 8th grade however this quickly changed for the worse in high school. In my Algebra 1 class I would find myself looking for the answers online. All in all i fared pretty well and was OK in my Algebra classes.
For senior year I hope these experiences change but ultimately that is up to me. I am taking calculus and so far it seems that it is going to be good. Math is important and will always be needed. I will not be dropping the class despite the higher difficulty level.
